It was an evening of worship from the very first song as if God was already waiting for us in the front row-and we came with hearts prepared to give praise, honor and glory to the King of Kings! Throughout the testimonies of the four women who spoke I became aware of one golden thread that is woven through all of our lives. God comes to us in our most desperate hour, in the darkest moments of despair---He comes and provides a way out. But not just a way out. He gives us the opportunity to use our brokenness to share with others in need so that they too can experience the soothing touch of our God, our Provider, our comforter, our Shield and Refuge. That soothing touch of God---that is my fondest memory from the Women’s fellowship.

Our Father has a heartbeat. This heartbeat is to save souls. We have been refreshed in this retreat to go back home with the heart beat of the Father so that we can be an expression of his love as we relate with people around us.

Two days of knowing God; Halleujah!!! This is sweeter than whatever “you” would call sweet.
I waited patiently for the Lord
He turned to me and heard my cry
He lifted me out of my darkest
He set my feet on the Rock
He put a new song in my mouth.
-Psalm 40:1-3.
It’s a song that I will tell and sing even after my last breathe…for touching and saving a lost soul (that was me).
